Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern all projects undertaken by The Sign Collective (“we”, “us” or “our”). By commissioning us to provide branding solutions, the client (“you” or “your”) agrees to these terms.

1. Services Provided
We offer a comprehensive branding service which may include design, site surveys, specification advice, supply and install management, production oversight and quality control, project coordination, signage supply (via trusted partners), snagging and aftercare. The scope of services will be outlined in your project proposal.

2. Geographic Availability
Our services are available within the United Kingdom.

3. Payment Terms
We typically require full payment in advance to commence any work. In certain cases, at our discretion, a 50/50 payment model may be offered – 50% payable upfront to secure design work, materials and installation slots, with the remaining 50% due upon artwork signoff and before manufacturing begins. Payment terms will be confirmed in your project agreement.

4. Lead Times
Lead times vary depending on project scope and specific requirements. Estimated timelines will be shared once we have a full understanding of your needs. These are indicative only and may be subject to change due to external factors or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
Once an order has been placed and accepted, we are unable to accommodate cancellations, refunds, or changes to the agreed specification. This ensures continuity of workflow and protects the resources allocated to your project.

6. Subcontracted Work
To deliver the best possible outcome, we may engage trusted specialist subcontractors to carry out aspects of the work. All work remains under our oversight and quality assurance processes.

7. Compliance and Standards
We ensure that all signage supplied is legible, safe and compliant with relevant UK regulations. While we take every reasonable step to advise on specification and compliance, final responsibility for obtaining any required planning permissions rests with the client.

8. Project Coordination and Oversight
We manage all elements of the project as outlined in the agreed scope. Our role includes liaising with trusted partners and installers to maintain quality control and ensure timely delivery.

9. Snagging and Aftercare
We offer snagging and aftercare support as part of our service. Any issues identified post-installation should be reported promptly so we can address them efficiently.

10. Liability
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from delays, errors in third-party manufacturing, or site conditions beyond our control. However, we will always work with you to find a practical and fair resolution where possible, aiming to achieve an outcome that works for both parties.

11. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The version in effect at the time of order placement will apply.
