Celebrating the Installation of Eccleston Green’s New Sign

We were delighted to see the completion of a recent signage project at Eccleston Millennium Green, delivered in partnership with Chorley Council and Eccleston Parish Council.

The new heritage-style entrance sign provides a refreshed welcome to this much-loved local green space, helping visitors explore the area while celebrating the character and history of the site.

Chorley Council shared the completed project on their social media, commenting:

The new Eccleston Green sign has now been fitted, giving a fresh update to the original millennium sign and celebrating this much-loved local green space.

Designed with the surrounding environment in mind, the sign creates a welcoming focal point for visitors and supports the ongoing ambition to encourage more people to enjoy the walking routes and outdoor spaces available locally.

The project was made possible through collaboration between Chorley Council, Eccleston Parish Council, local ward councillors and The Sign Collective, bringing together design, manufacturing and installation to create a long-lasting addition to the Green.

A spokesperson from Chorley Council added:

Designed to encourage more people to get out walking and enjoy everything on their doorstep, the sign is a great addition to the Green and a reminder of the health and wellbeing benefits that come from spending time outdoors.

We are proud to have played our part in bringing this project to life and creating a piece of signage that will welcome visitors to Eccleston Millennium Green for years to come.
